Thebe visits new family member, Timrite
On the 10th of September, 2013, a Thebe team, led by executive chairman Vusi Khanyile, paid a visit to the regional office of Timrite in Nelspruit in Mpumalanga province, and the company’s Satico Mill and Satico Plantation in Barberton, also located in the same province.
Thebe had visited the Back End Operations (the mill and the plantation) of Timrite to learn more about the business, which it acquired a controlling interest in August this year.
The visit went smoothly and the Thebe team came back to Johannesburg with a wealth of information and knowledge about Timrite’s staff, the company’s operations, and the underground mining-support products it provides to gold and platinum industries.
