Colourful people
Thebe celebrated Heritage Day in style. The offices were ablaze with colours, as staff dressed up in traditional clothing and shared their unique heritage and culture. The assortment of foods, from Briyani, pap, potjie, maotwana-chicken feet (affectionately known as ‘runaways’), to milktart and mogudu (tripe), gave a taste of our diverse cultures and culinary variety. Mokgethi Tshabalala, the CEO of The Thebe Foundation, shared a few words on how cultures evolve over time and the importance of moving forward while still being firmly rooted in our heritage.
