The Cape’s leading décor, design and lifestyle exhibition once again promises to be the destination of choice for those intent on turning house into home.

Decorex Cape Town 2016 – a comprehensive showcase of the latest décor and design trends, products and services – kicks off on 29 April and runs for four days, until 2 May, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

In keeping with its new theme, ‘Take it Home, Make it Home’, the Cape Town exhibition promises visitors infinite ideas and inspiration for their interior and exterior spaces. Covering every aspect of the home and offering the ultimate shopping experience, this year’s theme taps into the very latest global design and décor trends. Providing everything the homeowner needs to renovate, restore, build or decorate a home, Decorex Cape Town will be a one-stop shop for all things house, be it requirements for DIY or decorating, for building or furnishing, for creating a state-of-the-art kitchen or a blissful bathroom.

New to the show will be the Décor & DIY Theatre offering a series of talks and interactive advice-sharing platforms that will arm visitors with a complete arsenal of fresh decorating know-how. The perennially popular 100% Design South Africa will present 100% Textile, an exclusive exhibition showcasing commissioned fabric designs, an interactive maker’s hub, and 100% Talent. Those with a passion for all things artisanal, will love the Craft + Create market, And in true market style, it will feature live bands and craft beers in addition to offering a colourful collection of unique handmade lifestyle products.

Foodies, too, will get their fill of the fun with delicious culinary experiences and endless dining options, from casual cafés and full-service restaurants to the ever-enticing cooking and cuisine shopping experience.

Decorex Cape Town is open from 10am to 7pm on 29 April to 1 May and 10am to 6pm on 2 May. Ticket prices are R85 for adults, R75 for trade, pensioners and students and R20 for children.
