Fresh Talent in BDU

As we forge full-steam ahead towards Vision 2020, we have been joined by a few new faces who pack a whole lot of talent. The Business Development Unit (BDU) has been joined by Zweli Thobela and Molebogeng Mfetane.

Fresh out of University of Johannesburg, Zweli has joined the BDU team as an intern for a year. This numbers man has completed his undergrad degree in B.com accounting (2014) as well as his B.com Honours in Financial Management (2015); this knowledge and a fresh eye bring a new dynamic to the team. Being told of the opportunity to work at Thebe, Zweli jumped at the opportunity to join the Thebe Family without hesitation.

“Like other companies Thebe strives to make a profit but we put people first,” he said when asked about his impression of the Thebe brand. Having his own personal values aligned to those of the business has proved a perfect fit for Zweli.

Molebogeng has also joined the team for a one year tenure as an intern. This action figure comic lover packs quite the theoretical finance punch. Much like Gandalf (Lord of The Rings Wizard), Lebo has a wealth of knowledge at her fingertips. Having completed her degree in Accounting and Management Accounting, this is her first experience in the Business Development field which she taken a keen interest in.

She firmly believes that as a brand based on humanity, Thebe will continue to thrive by helping others grow as well as itself. Molebogeng believes that as she strives for excellence in her new field, she aligns herself with the business in that it also strives for excellence in all of its business ventures.
